What it costs
Creating an account and building your support page is completely free. There are no monthly fees, no setup costs, and no feature gates.

What Sen takes
Sen takes a small percentage of financial transactions to cover infrastructure, payment processing costs, and platform maintenance.
Tips (one-time support)
8%
Applied to each tip. Creator receives the rest directly.
Subscriptions (monthly support)
5%
Applied to each recurring payment. Creator receives the rest directly.
Stripe's own processing fees (typically ~2.9% + 30¢) are separate and deducted by Stripe before the creator receives their payout. Sen's fee is calculated on the gross transaction amount.
💳 How payments work
The money flow
All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Sen never stores credit card numbers, bank details, or other sensitive payment data.

Fan pays
Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Payment info never touches Sen's servers.

Sen records
We log the transaction details (amount, status, message) via webhook confirmation.
3️⃣
Creator gets paid
Stripe routes payout directly to the creator's connected account, minus fees.

What we collect and why
Sen is designed to collect the minimum data needed to run the platform. We don't sell data, run ads, or share your information with third parties beyond what's needed for payments.
Account data
- Email address (for authentication and receipts)
- Display name and username (public profile)
- Avatar image (optional, stored in Supabase Storage)
Transaction data
- Tip amounts, messages, and anonymous flag
- Subscription tier selections and status
- Stripe session IDs (for payment reconciliation)
What we don't collect
- No credit card or bank details (handled by Stripe)
- No tracking cookies or analytics pixels
- No third-party ad networks or data brokers
